Hello and Welcome Everyone!

It indeed an honour and a great privilege for me as the Founder and President of the Apostles Fellowship International (AFI) to convey an inaugural message as we celebrate the launching of our church website and facebook.

At AFI, we clearly understand the paramount importance of effective communication and information dissemination for our church. With this clear understanding, our National Information Ministry (Information Ministry) is being vested with a vital responsibility of ensuring that relevant information is shared and communicated to the largest audience possible in the hope of sharing God’s word locally and internationally.

The Information Ministry took the initiative and recommended to the leadership and the National Executive Committee the use of two (2) cutting edge technological tools in AFI:

1.Facebook, a social media network;and

2.A well-designed church website.

These initiatives and recommendations received our support and signals an exciting new era for AFI in the Information, Communication and Technology arena. There are other plans in the pipeline that will further assist and advance our vision to win “Fiji For Jesus”.

Both our face-book and this site will ensure a wide coverage, massive outreach and easy accessibility for many all around the world.Through the use of these cutting edge tools, we will be able to share messages of the hour, advocate news worthy Christian updates from Fiji and abroad, feature inspirational hymns and choruses and even upload images (pictures, photos, audio-visuals etc) that capture great events facilitated by the church to evangelise and extend the hand and divine plans of God across fellowships, communities, homes and families.All this will be done for the purpose of building God’s Kingdom during these end times.

I would like, at this moment, voice my deep gratitude, thanks and appreciation to the members of the Information Ministry, in particular, its Chairperson, Bro. Apisalome Tamani for the initiative that has come to fruition today.

The Information Ministry (like all other ministries in the church) is hopeful of achieving bigger, better and brighter targets for the church in 2012.This will certainly be made possible through God’s anointing & blessings, prayers and fasting, hard work, commitment, united team effort, unwavering support and the genuine passion to see the work and word of God being shared with as many people as possible. Together, we can make a difference for the better with God!

We bid farewell to 2011 with all its challenges & struggles and we now welcome the New Year with excitement as we eagerly anticipate all that God has in store for us in 2012.

Someone once said, “The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us”.Indeed...With God ALL things are possible; dreams become reality and our plans come to fruition.

To be formal witnesses to the launching of our church face-book and website is an occasion well worth celebrating.We praise God for continuing to lead us in His wisdom and for empowering members of the congregation to utilise their professional skills, expertise and knowledge to move his work forward – All for His Glory!

I am deeply privileged and it gives me great pleasure today to officially launch the AFI’s face-book and this site - To God be all Praise, Honour & Glory!
